Alicia Schultz
Alicia Schultz is a hand letterer, illustrator, stationery designer, teacher, and muralist based in Portland, Oregon. She’s fond of unique color combinations and loves the “imperfections” present in hand drawn work.
Alicia strives to capture and inspire joy found from everyday moments. She is inspired by botanicals and is especially influenced by the life-cycle of flowers and plants.
In addition to partnering with Allport Editions to produce her State Facts series of cards and tea towels, Alicia’s created custom goods for companies including Minted and Google. Her unique hand lettering, horticultural art and patterns, and illustrations can be found on stationery, art prints, surface design, and murals.
Our State Facts series, with its mix of well-known and obscure data, appeal to both locals and visitors eager to capture a slice of life in their favorite town. Alicia’s designs sell particularly well in Home & Garden Shops, Gift Stores, and anywhere Regional products drive sales.
A self-taught artist, Alicia has spent many years building a career with her art. She finds great value in connection – which she shares through her craft, taking classes from other local artists, and being a part of the creative community - both locally and globally.
When not making art, Alicia loves having spontaneous adventures with her husband, two daughters and two goldendoodles, Lazo & Hazel.
